This beautiful 100 year old home has been recently remodeled.  Shrub Appeal's proposed design enhances the usability of the outdoor space and compliments the home's new exterior look.  

Design Challenges and Solutions:
1) The porch extends directly to the sidewalk (zero front yard!) so we decided to give the side garden extraordinary curb appeal.
2) Most of the garden is heavily shaded so we found the most colorful shade plants on the market.
3) The property is narrow and the downspouts cannot let out near the sidewalks or neighbor's yard.  We solved this by designing rain gardens where downspouts can safely let out. 
4) So the garden could be appreciated from window views we created garden islands that also enhance the curving lines. 

Expected Maintenance:
- Water until established
- Water in hot summers
- Twice yearly application of weed control product
- Easy pruning of 4 shrubs once every 2 years
-Dividing of select perennials every 4 years
